During his time in property management, Ron noticed a recurring issue: many managers, including himself, were dissatisfied with their property maintenance vendors, and specifically, the worst were the parking lot sweeping services. The vendors often failed to meet the high standards required, leading to frustration and a constant search for better options. This dissatisfaction sparked an idea in Ron’s mind. He realized there was a significant gap in the market for reliable and high-quality parking lot sweeping services.
Determined to fill this gap, Ron researched the necessary equipment and logistics to start his own business. He worked tirelessly, balancing his day job with night shifts dedicated to his new venture. In 1975, at age 27, Ron and his wife officially launched the company, with Ron and his wife handling the night shifts along with their infant son, Aaron. Ron continued working his day job for the developer for several months. Finally, their dedication and hard work paid off. The company quickly gained a reputation for excellence, thanks to Ron’s commitment to quality and his firsthand understanding of the challenges property managers face. His early experiences in property management were instrumental in shaping the company’s core values and service standards.
